We left for Ocracoke in the afternoon, so we could not ask for a more beautiful ferry ride!
Even the sun glistening off of the water was picture perfect!
We stayed at The Castle Bed & Breakfast!
We had a wonderful view of the Ocracoke Harbor. We could not have stayed at a more perfect location!
The main reason why we chose Ocracoke was because of the beach! Brandon and I drove out on the beach, where hardly anyone was! It was fun to set up our spot on the beach with everything you need in the truck or cooler that is beside you!
After looking at this cool island for most of the day, Brandon and I decided to take our surfboards and paddle out to this deserted island...
Here is the view from "Our Island" looking back towards the beach where our truck is. The only thing on the island besides the two of us, were the best the best shells I have ever seen, and a huge buoy.
I have always seen these things out in the ocean but had no idea how massive in size they were until we got up close. In case you haven't noticed, Brandon and I are even tourists in our own town! (Brandon posing by the buoy :)
I'm sure we aren't the first ones to discover this island, but we sure felt like explorers!
We found some of the coolest things, like this purple starfish and even a sand dollar!
How cool is this place!
To me, this picture is proof that there is always a way to fall even more in love with your spouse, no matter how long you have been together!
This is random, but Brandon and I threw the rose petals from the flowers he got me from our anniversary, in the water behind our house. The picture turned out pretty neat!
